Behavior-change coaching

Care path: Coaching and programs

Most people already know some of what they “should” be doing. The hard part is doing it consistently, in a busy life.

Coaching is part of how Dr. Nick works across chiropractic, functional medicine and his programs: what your training looks like, what you eat, how you sleep and recover, and the patterns and routines that keep getting in the way.

Common questions

What is behavior-change coaching?

Regular one-on-one conversations focused on turning a plan into habits. Together you choose a few clear priorities, take small steps, check in, and adjust when life gets in the way.

What does coaching cover?

Training and movement, nutrition, sleep and recovery, stress and daily routines, and the patterns that keep you stuck, such as all-or-nothing starts or habits that fall apart when work gets busy.

How is this different from a personal trainer or a nutritionist?

Coaching ties the whole picture together: your evaluation, any test results, how you train, what you eat and how your days actually run, with the same person who knows your history.

Who is it for?

People who are busy, often running in survival mode, and already doing some things for their health, but want a clear plan and support to stick with it.

Is this therapy or counseling?

No. Coaching is not mental health treatment. If you are dealing with depression, anxiety or another mental health concern, a licensed mental health professional is the right place to start, and coaching can work alongside that care.

How is coaching delivered?

Coaching is built into the practice’s programs. Aligned Field includes ten one-on-one 30-minute coaching calls over six months. FX Labs + 90-Day Coaching includes check-ins with Dr. Nick throughout the 90 days.

How coaching works

  1. Understand where you are

Your goals, your history, what you have tried and what a normal week really looks like.

  2. Choose a few priorities

A short list of changes that matter most for you right now, not twenty at once.

  3. Build habits in small steps

Changes sized to fit your life, so they hold up on busy weeks.

  4. Check in and adjust

Regular conversations to review what is working, what is not, and what comes next.

If you are in crisis

Coaching is not crisis support. If you are thinking about harming yourself, or are in immediate danger:

  • Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, any time
  • Call 911 in an emergency
