Choosing your appointment.

Chiropractic and functional medicine have different starting points. The practice can help you choose.

Chiropractic

The clinic uses a detailed case history and the Gonstead system of analysis and adjusting.

“We only make a correction when we identify joint dysfunction.”

Plan for at least 60 minutes for your first chiropractic visit: a detailed evaluation of the spine with orthopedic and neurological checks, then adjustments and hands-on work. Follow-up visits are 30 minutes.

Functional medicine

“We start by understanding your story—your health history, symptoms, lifestyle, goals, and what you’ve already tried.”

The approach includes targeted testing when appropriate, personalized recommendations, and tracking and adapting the plan.

It starts with a 30-minute consultation call. Afterward, Dr. Nick sends a summary with the testing he recommends and your options for working together.

Getting ready.

  1. Request the right appointment

Use the SimplePractice appointment request. If you’re unsure which care path to choose, call the practice. A request is not a confirmed appointment; the practice will confirm it with you.

  2. Complete your forms

Before a first chiropractic visit, the patient portal sends assessment forms to complete. You can also upload any recent labs or imaging so Dr. Nick can review them in advance. Fees are shown when you request an appointment.

  3. Use the patient portal

Share health information and requested records through the patient portal, not this website.

How long are visits?

Plan for at least 60 minutes for a first chiropractic visit, and follow-up visits are 30 minutes. A functional medicine consultation is a 30-minute call.

Do you take X-rays?

X-rays are not taken at the office. If imaging is needed, Dr. Nick will refer you to a nearby imaging provider.

How do I request an appointment?

Use the SimplePractice appointment request, or call the office. The practice will confirm your appointment.

What if I’m not sure which appointment to choose?

Call the office to discuss appointment options before submitting a request.

What about fees and insurance?

Fees for each appointment type are shown when you request an appointment. Functional medicine is self-pay. For chiropractic care, the practice can submit claims if your plan includes chiropractic benefits; coverage depends on your plan.

What is the cancellation policy?

The practice policies, including cancellation terms, are shared through the patient portal when your appointment is set up.

Where should I send records or health information?

Use the practice’s patient portal, not this website, for clinical messages, health information and requested records.
