This policy describes the public website for Dr. Nick Deliberato / Spine & Joint Clinic of Orange County. It explains the website’s current features and the services you may choose to visit from it.
Information on this website
Personally identifiable information (PII) is information that identifies you or can be used to identify you, such as your name, email address or phone number.
You can browse this website without giving us your name or contact details. The website has no forms or accounts, does not collect payments and offers no way to submit health information. It does not offer an email signup.
Hosting and technical data
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. When you visit, Cloudflare may process technical information, such as your IP address and request details, to deliver pages and help protect the website. Browsing without providing your name does not prevent this technical processing.
The website code does not set cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels or third-party tracking scripts on this website, and we do not collect personal information here for sale or behavioral advertising. SimplePractice’s own tools load only if you choose an appointment or question button (see below).
Appointments and patient information
Appointment requests, “Send a question” and the patient portal are provided through SimplePractice at spineandjointclinic.clientsecure.me. These are separate from this public website.
Appointment requests and questions open in a SimplePractice pop-up window. What you type there goes to the practice’s SimplePractice account, not this website. SimplePractice’s script loads only after you choose one of those buttons. It then prepares both the appointment and the question windows in the background, even if you open only one, and they can stay loaded until you leave the page. Those windows may use SimplePractice’s own analytics, error-reporting and payment-security tools. If SimplePractice’s script cannot load or set up the button, the button opens SimplePractice’s own page instead.
Information you enter there is handled by the practice under the applicable SimplePractice terms and privacy policy and the practice’s HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. This website policy does not replace that notice or describe how clinical records are used or disclosed.
Use the SimplePractice patient portal for health information. Do not send symptoms, health history or other health information by ordinary email. The Notice of Privacy Practices is available from the practice. Call the practice to ask for a copy of its Notice of Privacy Practices or help choosing the appropriate contact method.
Videos and external links
Our videos use click-to-load YouTube embeds from youtube-nocookie.com. No YouTube content loads until you click Play; the video preview images are hosted on this website.
While you browse this website without pressing Play or choosing an appointment or question button, we do not allow other parties to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites. If you press Play, YouTube’s own privacy practices apply, and YouTube may collect such information. If you choose an appointment or question button, SimplePractice’s privacy practices apply to its windows.
After you click Play, your browser connects to YouTube, which may process technical information and use its own storage or tracking technologies. The Google privacy policy, which covers YouTube, applies to that processing. You can leave a video unplayed.
Links to SimplePractice, social profiles and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy policies. Review those policies before providing information.
Do Not Track
The website itself does not track visitors across websites or use third-party behavioral tracking scripts. Because we do not perform this tracking, the website’s behavior is the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. External services you choose to open, including SimplePractice after you choose an appointment or question button and YouTube after Play, follow their own policies.
Children’s privacy
This public website is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. Questions about a child’s care should go through the practice’s appropriate patient communication channels.
Email updates
This website does not currently offer an email signup or send email updates. If a website email signup launches, we will update this policy before collecting signup information and include an unsubscribe option in those updates.
Security and breach notices
No website or online service can guarantee complete security. If a breach involving personal information requires notification, the practice will notify affected people as required by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
A link labeled “Privacy” is available in the footer of every page, including the homepage. We will post changes to this policy here and update the effective date. Please review this page when you have questions about the website’s privacy practices.
